This is a very old product that doesn't have support for Windows 10. Because of that, you will have to run a virtualized version of Windows XP using a dedicated application. This is the only possibility when apps refuse to work on a new operating system that doesn't support them. Virtualbox is pretty easy to install and configure. Of course, your motherboard needs to support virtualization (check in BIOS).
Download and install the VirtualBox app, then use the following guide to set it up for your needs. Once Windows XP is running, enable drag and drop from the menu bar and transfer the MGI PhotoSuite SE software.
The MGI PhotoSuite SE application is just like any other photo editing application. It allows you to add various shapes and text effects to your pictures. However, in MGI PhotoSuite SE, you can add text with the help of the A button. Press the A button, then click anywhere on the picture and add your text. You can use the image below for additional instructions. The SE and the normal version are pretty much the same. Both apps have the same interface.
I installed the program on my old PC. Now, I have a Windows 7 PC and I can't install the software. How can I install it and where can I get an activation key if it is required?

Unfortunately, the application has been discontinued when MGI Software Corporation was acquired by Roxio. It is no longer supported or updated. In order to install and run it on your Windows 7 PC, you can try the Compatibility Mode. Right-click on the installation package, select Properties and navigate to the Compatibility tab. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select a compatible operating system from the drop-down list. Click Apply and then OK. After that, right-click again on the installer and select the Run as Administrator option. Alternatively, you can install the program in the Windows XP Mode environment.
